The first human encounters with the elusive fairy has been lost to the mists of history, yet it seems certain that these humans experiences were enhanced with a plentiful supply of alcohol. To celebrate this fanciful contribution of distilled spirits, Alain Viesca has created a series of playful illustrations, coupling a fetching fey with a regional social lubricant.

More recently, Mr. Viesca has been exploring the Chinese zodiac in depth, and its permanent pigmentary placement on the naked flesh of attractive Asian women in particular. While his tattooed tributes are certainly pleasing, we anticipate this year’s animal — the ox — with some small level of trepidation.

Whatever the challenge, Alain will certainly prevail in his continued pursuit of the perfect female form — whatever his state of inebriation.
