It may be Johnathan Darkly spun himself a spiritual cocoon for a decade, but whatever the circumstances of his absence, he started showing significant signs of life a few years ago with a project featuring unusual evolutions of his previous characters. Glitch Heart seems a more interesting interactive effort that takes his characters in new more aggressively amorous directions.

Jon released a small proof of concept a few weeks ago that beautifully sets the scene and introduces our first companion, a small curvy goblin woman. We begged and got a few images of her without her simple dress, but much to our chagrin, she stays clothed in the current demo. As is his style, it’s an peculiar mix of anime, claymation, and retro videogame all rolled together into a charming and seductive mix of figure work.

Mr. Darkly promises the goblin woman will be more friendly in the updates to come, but did express hope that more than simply showing skin, the project captures the intimacy and intensity of your average multidimensional encounter.
