It needs to be said that the majority of Ursula Vernon’s work at Metal and Magic does not involve sexy women and mythological creatures. Almost all of her work involves incredibly cute animals. She does, however, have an entire section of her site devoted to the (more or less) human female form, and her excellence in this regard is worthy of special attention.
While her subjects range from angels and fairies, to warriors and animal mixes, the common thread is a sense of introspection and mystery. Each of these women has a story to tell…. if you just listen.
