Studio Pat

The muscular, dark green She-Hulk stands proudly naked. Superman and Wonder Woman sharing an intimate moment in the sky. A blue-skinned woman sits next to a magenta-skinned woman, both nude.

Some artists would prefer that their works speak for themselves. I don’t know who Pat is, but his (or her) artwork certainly has a unique voice. The deep shadows and bright costumes merge to form brooding noir snapshots of misbehaving supers caught in the act.

At Studio Pat, comic book heroes and villains feverishly shed their clothes and perform incredible feats of lust, while demons and angels add a little extra spice to the mix.

Part of the artist’s unique style is the realistic treatment of the fantastic characters. While the characters are often wearing — at least partially — their day-glow pajamas, and the style is still very comic book, the figures are still very grounded. It’s not difficult to believe that you’re simply peeking in on the undiscovered vices of a group of people who, by accident of birth or mental peculiarity, live their lives either combating or committing acts of world domination.

Keep peeking… you’ll like what you find!
