Since early humans scratched out crude forms on cave walls, the perfect woman has always been of critical concern to artists. This archetypal angel’s appearance, however, has been fluid and varied as the history itself.

For example, the dominant form of femininity was plump and powerful when the world was young, and monsters and magic ruled the land… as James V. West so artfully depicts. Only these mighty, meaty mavens could vanquish their foes and still retain the energy to properly enjoy the company of their menfolk.
