Ivan Flores

The classic American pin-up was born early in the last century has been subject to frequent reinterpretation by artists enthralled by the female form. Ivan Flores is one of the latest practitioners of this seductive school of art, combining his appreciation of the female form with shining high-tech armor, sinuous scaled tails, and glowing arcs of powerful magic.

In addition to adding his personal visions of mythic mermaids, alluring angels, and seductive succubi, Mr. Flores also indulges in that most guilty of portraiture pleasures: fan art. His tempting takes on such fantasy fan favorites as Star Trek’s beautiful Borg Seven of Nine, and Disney’s superpowered Shego have them revealing a little more skin than usual.
