Fumio

Some artists take their sweet time when illustrating their visions, carefully deliberating over every stroke, thoughtfully considering each highlight and shadow. Other, more reckless souls quickly dive into their medium, giving form to their vision with broad strokes and fine slashes of color, leaving fine detail — perhaps — for another day. The artist named simply Fumio, as it would seem, is the latter.

His site hosts a slew of sexy sketches, averaging almost one a week for several years. These wondrous women are adorned with elaborate tribal tattoos, exotic costumes, high-tech form-fitting armor, and sometimes a simple unstrung bikini.

One of Fumio’s more unusual talents is the gender bending of macho male video game characters into their beautiful, big breasted counterparts. Rest assured, however, that he’s done an excellent job of depicting the already female fighters as well.

There’s precious little English on Fumio’s site, but paging through the Rakuragi (ラクガキ) category should reveal all of the sketches he’s published
